Dr. Richard Parker is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, affiliated with LIJ Hospital/NSU Hospital, who treats all orthopedic problems, with special interest in arthroscopy, sports medicine, and disorders of the spine. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and was trained at Montefiore Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Parker was one of the first orthopedic surgeons to perform outpatient arthroscopic surgery on Long Island, starting in 1980, and is a fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the North American Arthroscopy Association. He is also a recipient of the prestigious America’s Top Doctors Award.
