Lyn Dyles, MD, specializes in the psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adults. Patients may be seen for a consultation appointment at the request of their primary care physician, or they may decide to have their psychiatric treatment followed by Dr. Dyles. Treatment recommendations are individually tailored for each patient. Recommendations may include individual psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both medicine and therapy.
Lyn Dyles, MD, is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Her areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders, as well as women's issues. Co-existing medical problems are also considered very important, as those conditions may impact emotions and thought processes.
In order to provide comprehensive individual service, Dr. Dyles performs all assessments and provides all services. Patients are never seen by a social worker or nurse, each patient works directly with the doctor.
Dr. Dyles trained at Baylor College of Medicine, and completed residency at the University of Washington Hospital Program in Seattle. She has lived and practiced in Alaska since 1989.
