SPRING LIFE Acupuncture & Healing is a caring wellness center dedicated to facilitate healing for patients using Chinese Medicine- increasing individual health awareness and embodiment. We serve the community of Hercules and San Francisco as an enlightening health resource. We will educate our clients about their own bodies and how their lifestyles have an impact of their health. We will coach the individuals through their own healing with acupuncture, herbs, and other comforting modalities.
Spring Life Acupuncture and Healing provides services to treat many different areas of health. To complement our sessions, we promote education and self-healing techniques.

Acupuncture - Acupuncture has been used for over 2000 years to alleviate pain and relieve symptoms of illness. The practitioner strategically places hair-thin needles on the body based on the meridian system, Chinese Medicine’s road map of the body, which runs through the internal organs. Illness occurs when the Qi (energy) along the meridian system become blocked. When needles are placed along these meridians, Qi is unblocked and therefore opens the gateway to the body’s healing process.

An acupuncture session last approximately one hour, and includes discussion of your condition and placement of the needles which stay in place for approximately 20 minutes. To complement your acupuncture session the practitioner may also include relaxation techniques through breathing exercises, visualization and massage.

Acupressure – Acupressure, an alternative to acupuncture, is a technique in which the practitioner presses on specific points on the body based on the meridian system.

Tui-Na Massage – Generally used for relieving muscoloskeletal conditions, Tui-Na is a form of acupressure that has been in practice for over 2000 years. The practitioner physically incorporates a series of tecnhiques including tapping, pressing and kneading using the finger tips, palm and knuckles to remove Qi blockage based on the meridian system.

Chi Organ Massage – Based on the art of Chi Nei Tsang. Negative influences in our lives create Qi blockages in the internal organs. Chi Organ Massage unblocks these energies; enabling the Qi in your body to flow, restore balance and promoting healing. To complement these sessions, the practitioner can incorporate breathing exercises and visualization techniques. A Chi Organ Massage session last approximately one hour.

Chinese Herb Remedies - In addition to hands on tools of healing the body, Traditional Chinese Medicine can include herbal remedies to aid healing. The practitioner will formulate and provide you with a personalized blend of herbs to be taken at home.
